OPEN DOOR PRESCHOOL
Open Door serves children of diverse backgrounds and abilities and offers a sliding scale fee in order to serve families with limited means. Groundwork provides two weekly classes at Open Door.
FAITH PRESBYTERIAN PRESCHOOL
Faith Presbyterian’s diverse classrooms also include a significant percentage of families with limited means. Church members helped initiate weekly Groundwork classes and continue to provide support.
TRINITY LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL
Groundwork is partnering with the Arts and Fitness Program for Young Children (AFPYC) to bring a semester of weekly classes and teacher training so that classroom teachers will be able to better use music in their lesson plans and daily routines.
MOUNT SINAI BAPTIST CHURCH PRESCHOOL
Mt Sinai is a wonderful preschool where Groundwork can build on the strong ties that their teachers and families have to the music of their affiliated church.
This is just the beginning! Help us to reach more schools. Our goal is to have classes in ten schools by the end of 2010.
