Pariticipate in group ukulele lessons that will help you learn an instrument and much more. If you already know a few chords, and want to take you skills to the next level, this is the program for you. Expand your skills from a few basic strums, and learn how to read notes, play melodies, create solo and ensemble arrangements, how to play beyond the first four frets, how to play bar chords, and how to play some of the more exotic chords often associated iwth both jazz and pop music.
Neal Kassanoff, who will be leading the lessons, is an educator, song writer and band leader who has provided ukulele lessons for over a decade, providing group lessons and private lessons, as well as managing and training a team of teachers. You will have an opportunity to learn the instrument, develop your note reading skills and carry forward a lifetime of musical enrichment that is at once challenging and joyful.
You may want to consider stringing your instrument with a low G for this program, but both types of tuning are welcome.
